Emergency Repeater System
Welcome to our new look!. I am trying the single page method for this site instead of a bunch of seperate html pages. The Emergency Repeater System is based out of beautiful Flower Mound, Texas. The purpose of the ERS is to provide a network of linked repeaters with frequency agile remote bases for use in emergency and disaster communications. The sideshow is getting to explore new technology and tinker with RF and repeaters with the intention of gaining experience in the technical aspect of ham radio.
The ERS maintains a yahoo group for inter-member communications at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/n5ers

Guidelines for repeater usage
Every repeater listed in our network is open except those with unpublished tones.
Adhearence to FCC rules and regulations is paramount, Part95 and Part97.
Foul launguage will never be tolerated. It offends the FCC and the repeater trustees.
Try to ID every time the repeater ID's. It's set at 10min, so you just can't go wrong keeping pace.
Kerchunking repeaters is annoying and illegal. If you are range testing, just say so.
